Christine went to high school with my husband and reached out to me after seeing some posts I did of other Gold Beach weddings. I was thrilled that she could tell me stories about Herbie and that I could come down and see her and all of the friends that we shared. When I drove up to their parents house, the first thing I saw was a sign from The Hobbit saying "No admittance, accept on party business," and I knew this was going to be an awesome wedding.
The difficult part of this wedding was staying emotionally stable. Austin had lost his father a couple of weeks prior to the wedding and that was really difficult for everyone, especially when he was dancing with Christine, his mother and grandmother. It was so apparent how much love this family shares for one another, and a reminder of how grateful I should be to say "I love you," to the people who are in my life.
Christine and Austin are two beautiful souls. I loved getting to know them, their story, and their families. Christine has a very large family and we spent some time getting photos with all of them. I was so happy to be there to capture all of them because I know how important it is for them to be able to reflect back on that day with all of the people they love.
To be perfectly honest, I was so excited about how gorgeous their home and the wedding was that I took well over 2400 photos and feel bad that they're going to have to spend so much time going through all of them! The house is on a hill overlooking the Oregon coast. A perfect backdrop for a perfect wedding.
I definitely won't forget this wedding or the people who showed how much they love one another. <3
